Republicans flipped a seat in Pennsylvania and the remaining contests — in Alaska and Ohio — remain too close to call.

Currently, only seven states have eliminated the subminimum wage for tipped employees: Alaska, California, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.

House races that could swing the balance are taking place a wide variety of states, with closely watched elections happening in California, New York, Washington, Maine and Alaska.

California and every other state with the exception of Alaska and Hawaii will remain on standard time until March 9, when the clocks “spring forward” an hour as daylight saving time returns.
