Early versions of Haring’s barking dogs, radiant babies, pyramids and nuclear towers show up here — he was also thinking about language and developing a visual lexicon — along with videos he made, including “Painting Myself Into a Corner,” in which he paints an abstract design onto the floor while inching backward.
