Managing Your Dictionary.com Premium Membership Account Settings

Logging in to your account

Your login information is the email address and password you used to sign up for Dictionary.com. If you forgot the email address associated with your account, please contact us.

Forgot your password?

If you forgot your password, you can easily retrieve it here. Enter in the email address that you used to register and press “Submit” to reset your password. If you forgot the email address associated with your account, please contact us.

Accessing your Dictionary.com Premium Account

Simply login with the user name and password that you used when joining to enjoy the Dictionary.com Premium experience.

Managing Your Dictionary.com Premium Membership Subscription

Changing your Dictionary.com Premium Membership subscription:

To change your account information, view your subscription information, or cancel your subscription, log in and visit your account management page and scroll down to the “Manage Subscriptions” section of the page. You can also get to your account management page by clicking on your name in the top right-hand corner of the page.

Canceling a Premium Membership Subscription:

You can cancel your Premium Membership subscription at any time. To cancel your subscription, log in and visit your account management page. Under “Manage Subscriptions,” click “Cancel Subscription.” You can also get to your account management page by clicking on your name in the top right-hand corner of the page.

Even if you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to your Premium Membership until the end of your one-year subscription period. At the end of your one-year subscription period, your subscription will expire. When your subscription expires, you will no longer receive the benefits of a Premium Membership, but you will still have access to your free Dictionary.com account. Please contact us if you have any additional questions about canceling your subscription.

Refund policy:

We do not issue refunds, but are happy to discuss any issues you have. Our team will review your request on a case-by-case basis.

Automatic subscription renewal:

Your annual Premium Membership subscription is an auto-renewing subscription. That means that your subscription will automatically renew every year and your credit card will be charged.

The date that your subscription will automatically renew is provided to you in the email receipt that you received when signing up for your Premium Membership. It is also available on your account management page. To see this information, log in and visit your account management page and scroll down to the “Manage Subscriptions” section of the page. You can also get to your account management page by clicking on your name in the top right-hand corner of the page.

When you cancel your subscription, your subscription will no longer auto-renew. However, you will continue to have access to your Premium Membership benefits until the end of your one-year subscription period. At the end of your one-year subscription period, your subscription will expire. When your subscription expires, you will no longer receive the benefits of a Premium Membership, but you will still have access to your free Dictionary.com account.

To cancel your subscription, log in and visit your account management page. Under “Manage Subscriptions,” click “Cancel Subscription.” You can also get to your account management page by clicking on your name in the top right-hand corner of the page. For additional information about auto-renewal, please refer to the Terms of Service that you accepted when you signed up for your Premium Membership. Please contact us if you have any additional questions about automatic subscription renewal.

Renewing or re-subscribing:

If you canceled your subscription during your one-year subscription period and your subscription has not yet expired, you can easily renew. To renew a subscription that has not yet expired, log in and visit your account management page. Under “Manage Subscriptions,” click “Renew.” You can also get to your account management page by clicking on your name in the top right-hand corner of the page.

When you renew your subscription during your one-year subscription period, you will be signing up for an annual, auto-renewing subscription. Your credit card will be automatically be charged at the end of your one-year subscription period.

If your subscription has expired and you want to re-subscribe to your Premium Membership, you will need to complete the billing checkout process again. Click here to re-subscribe. Please contact us if you have any additional questions about renewing or re-subscribing.
