Amid meetings by lockers, the varsity jackets and “crazy” frat-like house parties, the time period and location are uncertain, but a New England-esque feel comes from locations including bridges at Redbrook, and Brockweir and Tintern’s Wireworks Bridge, plus sweeping shots over the River Wye.

His Dee is invariably the most sane, grounded person in every scene, though once it’s time to bust out the wireworks, he can leap from rafter to rafter with the best of them.
