He said the “peaceful transfer of power is one of the most sacred responsibilities of the U.S. Congress.”

“The federal government has failed. The U.S. Congress, they have not done anything to impact it,” said Treat, an Oklahoma City Republican.

“We simply cannot. No matter how many checks the U.S. Congress writes, we are limited there.”

Instead, he proposed "the U.S. Congress should have fought over it" instead of simply accepting the will of the voters.

“If you go to the U.S. Congress, your heart warms up because everywhere you go you meet friends,” he said.
