The matter in my mind complicates itself with the question of a universal ego.

(The god Siva is also called the all to pan-sarva and Ego, that is I am the universal ego and giver of all gifts to all).

Therefore be devoted to the sole Ego, and drown your own egoism in the universal Ego.
