As I sweltered under a fierce sun, I hoped to let the truth uncage itself.

A small crowd of state legislators, clergy and activists gathered on the state capitol on Thursday holding signs that read “Uncage & Reunite” and “Call ICE” with the agency’s local phone number.

A group known as Uncage and Reunite Families called on Gov. Doug Ducey Thursday to commit to another and independent investigation of the shelters, saying the health department on didn’t suffice.
