The past month to that point hadn’t been one to remember for the Trojans quarterback.

But it was his incredibly speedy puzzle skills in the Trojan Horse challenge that really caught the eye.

Despite entering the next season with the least expectations among USC’s quartet of sophomore wideouts, he emerged by mid-October as the most trusted of options in the Trojans’ passing attack.

“Played awesome. He really did,” Trojans coach Lincoln Riley said.

Dunn let the three fly and swished it in to push the Trojans lead to 30 points.
