I'm a tap dancer, so they knew I was passionate about dance.

Melinda Sullivan, a tap dancer, and Larry Goldings, a pianist, improvise eclectic music together and bust out musical theater classics, which has amassed them a dedicated fan club.

The starry lineup of dancers includes members of City Ballet and American Ballet Theater, as well as contemporary and tap dancers and a ballroom duo.

“Joe’s not clout chasing,” said the tap dancer and choreographer Chloé Arnold, a veteran of New York City Dance Alliance’s faculty.

She also worked closely with dancers and choreographers early in her career, and she maintained an enduring collaboration with the tap dancer Brenda Bufalino.
