Although he has enjoyed a career that includes acting/stuntman roles in both “Black Panther” movies and acting roles in the movie “Little Big League,” the TV show “Anger Management” and more than two dozen national commercials, Todd is best known in Santa Monica as the dude who can’t say no to volunteer fundraisers and sports a vanity license plate that reads “NVR KWT.”

The Hollywood stuntman and actor died on 12 August at a care home in the US state of Missouri, according to an online obituary.

His first role as a stuntman was for the TV series Soldiers of Fortune, which ran from 1955 to 1957.

While many might not recognise Rondell's name, they will have likely seen him set alight for the cover of Pink Floyd's 1975 album Wish You Were Here while shaking hands with fellow stuntman Danny Rogers.

It happened while he was waiting backstage with co-star Jason Sudeikis, stuntman Johnny Knoxville and singer Neil Young for their sketch “Appalachian Emergency Room.”
