Among the Perpendicular additions to the church last named may be noted a very beautiful oaken rood-screen.

There seems now to be a general inclination towards a revival of the rood screen.

The present rood screen and canopied stalls were put in toward the close of the fifteenth century.

The upper stalls number in all thirty-six, fifteen on either side, and six with their backs to the rood screen.
