In today’s era of television reshowing controversial plays from different angles and follow-up checks by the officials, it is difficult to fool the public.

The reshowing of his fall/winter 2017 presentation; a high-energy performance by Vintage Trouble, the band appearing in the spring/summer 2018 Varvatos campaign; and an after-party were part of South Coast Plaza’s 50th-anniversary celebrations.

Organizers had said earlier that the show would be taped for a DVD package, and there were constant reminders that the real purpose was for a reshowing rather than to entertain those in the building.

Highlights so far have been the return of Harry Hill, a reshowing of Vic and Bob's weird sitcom pilot The Weekenders, and Matt Berry's new sitcom Toast Of London.

Hopes for a marathon reshowing here of the whole saga sometime soon seem doomed by lack of funds.
