When I started this project, the first thing I did was put together what I call my pie chart.

I’ve invested X amount, made these partnerships, hired all these people of color and look at my pie chart.’

I think that some of it is like a pie chart, if you will, of different reasons.

By far the biggest wedge of the pie chart was Peter flying to scientific meetings and conferences.

In the numbers I see the people I know, whose lives are often reduced into stigmatizing pie charts and graphs, if they are represented at all.
