on the fence

I was on the fence about Rick Springfield.

Apologies to everyone for sitting on the fence again, but I am going for another draw.

Several voters I chatted with here tell me they were on the fence about voting and said they didn’t like either candidate for president.

We went back to them just before election day, and while most had come to a decision, others were still on the fence.

But she was also obviously making a pitch to any swing voters who are still on the fence.
