The military has intensified operations in north-eastern Nigeria this year, following persistent targeted attacks on its formations and installations.

The base typically plays host to 19,000 personnel and includes an airfield, deep-water port, and more across three installations along the Pacific Coast and southeast of Oxnard.

Hair installations or systems - such as wigs, toupees or extensions - and skin camouflage products such as pigmented fibre sprays may help to disguise the condition, according to the British Association of Dermatologists.

"Any unauthorised installations will be removed and handed in to the local police station where the owners can collect them," they said.
