Ramos, Canares, P-Lo and Noodles are among the co-founders of the Baryo HiFi festival, which is now in its second year and taking place this Saturday, May 3.

Born and raised in Historic Filipinotown, Foronda opened Hifi Kitchen in 2019 and kept the doors open during the pandemic’s economic disruptions through pure hustle.

Last year the 37-year-old staged a Filipino holiday market across street from Hifi to draw crowds to the neighborhood.

Researchers solved the puzzle by combining multiple genetic sequencing techniques, including a newly developed method known as PacBio HiFi sequencing that can accurately determine the sequence of longer sections of DNA.

And more than a year after giving its lossless streaming tier a flashy launch event, the company has yet to make Spotify HiFi available to customers.
