Unlike the valley’s prominent leaders who have established political lineages, Rashid has managed to establish an image of a “common man’s politician” who doesn’t shy away from taking on authorities.

They are also staying on message that economic policies, in the right hands, can benefit the common man.

Yet often within conservative media, these indulgences were cast as relatable, or even endearing quirks of a leader who understood the “common man.”

I liked the common man part of that.
