Epidemic cerebrospinal meningitis is a very fatal disease at times in America.

This disease may be mistaken at times for foreign bodies in the mouth or for the so-called cerebrospinal meningitis.

Sometimes, however, there are epidemics of cerebrospinal meningitis—spotted fever, as it used to be called.

In cerebrospinal meningitis the causative agent is unknown, but probably exists in the feed.
