The CEO of the Israeli Film and TV Producers Association called the petition "profoundly misguided".

The president had accused Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan of having problematic ties with China and called on him to resign, though Mr Tan called the accusations "misinformation".

He called on the CEOs of Discord and other networks to “explain what actions they will take to ensure their platforms are not exploited for nefarious purposes.”

“West Hollywood is repeating failed policies instead of learning from them,” said Sandy Moore, CEO of the Pet Advocacy Network.

The deal also requires Musk to create a succession plan for CEO, and to “wind down in a timely manner” his political involvement.
