At a dairy farm in New York this month, carolers serenaded a herd of 28 cattle.

There were more than a few repeat carolers at the event.

Throughout the years, those red cups were decorated with a number of designs, which were seasonal, but never overtly religious: snowmen, carolers, skaters, mittens, deer, doves and snowflakes.

Christmastown’s Village of Lights runs from November 24 through December 24 and features festive live entertainment in the tiny replica Bavarian town, including carolers, oompah bands and Christmas characters.

The upcoming Country Christmas strings the town with more than 100,000 lights and features horse-drawn hayrides, carolers, fireworks and a Santa’s workshop experience.
